Cedar Lake MRI uses a high-field "open-flair" MRI system. It was designed to make even the most difficult-to-scan patients (larger, pediatric, claustrophobic, etc.) feel more at ease, while keeping the physicians happy with superior image quality and faster scan times. The MRI system is used to create images of the human body's soft tissues, bones, vessels and functioning organs. These images help your physician diagnose and address a wide variety of ailments.

Take interstate 10 to exit 44 and take Cedar Lake Road south. Turn right on Medical Park Drive (traffic light) then take your first right into Cedar Lake Medical Park. We're the first building on the left.
Quality Images to Guide Your Care
MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves to cause body tissues in the area being scanned to send out tiny radio signals. Each type of tissue sends out a different signal. When the system converts these signals into a computerized image, the result is a clear "picture" of the area your doctor needs to see.
A Comfortable Experience for You
Thanks to our system's advanced design features, your MRI should prove perfectly comfortable. In fact, you may even find the experience relaxing. There are no known side effects. However, if you have a medical implant, tell your doctor and our MRI technologist before your MRI is scheduled.
